Music I like!
Aka Batzy Propaganda
This page will contain various artists I am a big enjoyer of, ranging from very mainstream to "who the fuck even is this? I'm also appreciative of reccomendations, especially stuff outside my usual comfort zone. Those more 'indie' will have their bandcamp and/or soundcloud linked
My top 5 favorites of all time
- They Might Be Giants
- System of a Down
- Metallica
- Mitski
- The Mountain Goats
This is not a complete list but rather just artists I find myself gravitating to more than others- this also doesn't mean I can name every single song ever, but I likely at least have a favorite album of theirs

What can I say about this album that hasn't already been said? Pink Floyd has always been known for very trippy and experimental music- and this album takes you through such a journey. My favorite track has got to be "The Trial", though "Comfortably Numb" is also a certified classic. Its an album I like to put on if I feel a particular way.
They Might Be Giants Flood

"Why is the world in love again? Whya re we marching hand in hand? Why are the ocean levels rising up?"
Classic album- probably not their best in terms of quaility- this is simply a nostalgia pick. Despite struggling to co-exist with my father who grows into a different person each time I see him, we can still put this on and have a great time. This was probably the first TMBG album I've ever listened to, and thus became my number one most listened to artist on Spotify Wrapped for 5 years in a row. This is when they were experimenting with digital music, and you can kinda tell- but it isn't a bad sound by any means. Its simply something that sounds so unlike the other stuff I've heard before.
As for favorite tracks, "Birdhouse in your Soul" is great- "Istanbul" is also an earworm...honestly the only one I'm not too crazy about is Letterbox. Even the sleeper hits like Sapphire Bullets of Pure Love and Road Movie to Berlin grew on me over the years.
Tally Hall Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum
"Oh wow, the terminally online transmasc likes Tally Hall- what a shock!"
Okay listen. After getting hooked on TMBG I really wanted to find more music that fit that general "doesn't really have a specific genre but its *something*" vibe, and bands like Tally Hall just so happen to scratch that itch for me. I can be a sterotype, nobody died its okay. ANYWAY- I wish I could tell you exactly why I like this album aside from the reason I just gave and, well, I can't really give a super deep reasoning other than I just like the vibes. Of course, my favorite tracks have to be the infamous "Ruler of Everything", as well as the double "Good Day/Greener" and "Taken for a Ride". Their other Album Good & Evil is also good but I told myself I had to pick one.
